This crochet pattern includes a project overview and a detailed full-circle crochet chart that visually maps out the stitches. There are a few short support videos available for this pattern. This pattern is not beginner-friendly. It requires closely following the diagram. It is perfect for those who love the clarity of crochet charts. If you’re not comfortable with diagram-based patterns, it might feel a bit tricky.

This pattern uses two main stitches - chain and treble (yarn over hook twice). You should already know how to do trebles, treble clusters, and close multiple trebles as one. 

Materials:

130 gr or ~5 oz of yarn with yardage close to 1500 yds/lb or 3000 m/kg

Metal hoop, 70 cm or 28 in diameter

Crochet hook, 1.75 mm

Linen, hemp, or cotton yarns designed for weaving items like table placemats or rugs would work best. Weaving yarns are less stretchy, provide more body than yarns intended for garments, and produce a crocheted piece with sharper and more defined outlines.

While this pattern works with most reasonable yarn and hook combinations, the size of the finished piece may vary, potentially requiring a different-sized hoop.
